Imagine a group of women who know who God created them to be and the purpose that He has for them….they are the women of Valley Christian Center!
Our 2009-2010 theme is to be women who know they are “Chosen….for such a time as this.” Just as Queen Esther was placed in a royal position for the specific purpose of saving the Jewish nation, so are we placed in a position by God to influence the world around us.
I believe that in the same way Mordecai communicates to Esther, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14) God is saying to us, “Daughter, I have chosen you for this time, for this year, for this generation. I did not choose your mother, your grandmother, or Mother Teresa for this day and this time, I chose you! If you don’t tell the world around you about me, and save them, then I will send someone else. So, you decide, do you want to use your royal position of being a daughter of the King for selfish gain, or do you want to increase my name? “
I don’t know about you, but I choose to increase the name of Jesus while I have time on this earth! Won’t you join me?
